Greetings, SFHTML5ers!

Here's an announcement about HTML5 training next week from one of our sponsors:

After a busy round of trainings in SF in April this year (over 400 registrations!), Apigee is organizing another round of **free** mobile app trainings in the Bay Area, June 19–23: http://apigee-sfv2-2013-sfhtml5.eventbrite.com. There will be a free hands-on intro training class that covers everything you need to know to build your first app in a single day, on Wednesday 6/19 in Mountain View, and offered twice in SF on Thursday & Friday (6/20–6/21).

Apigee will also offer a Free Advanced Class on 6/22–6/23 with a friendly contest ($4,000 in prizes, attributed by participants) to motivate you to build your own app during the class. Over 1,000 people have taken this training now in Austin, Amsterdam, Philadelphia, Denver, Detroit, Houston, San Jose, Atlanta, Los Angeles, and San Francisco: you can see some of their happy faces on the event page. ;)

Here’s what the instructors will cover during the intro class:

  • Essential mobile features of HTML5
  • How to use a UI framework like jQuery Mobile
  • How to package your app as a native app with PhoneGap
  • How to use a Mobile Backend-as-a-Service (BaaS) from HTML5 apps

There is a full list of topics we can cover in the advanced class on the event page.

Details and registration are here: http://apigee-sfv2-2013-sfhtml5.eventbrite.com (see down the page for what previous attendees have to say about it!).
