Due to popular demand, the owner of Oyaji will allow us to add an additional table for today's Meetup. This frees up 6 more spots so please RSVP yes if you would like to attend.

Let's meetup and practice our Japanese at Oyaji Restaurant, one of San Francisco's most authentic Izakaya. All ages and skill levels welcome. Event fee is estimated to include food and drink per person (this is not a nomi hodai but I am working on it). 15 people max as that is the largest party size for which they will take a reservation. Ganbarou!

    • “ I give the meet up about a 7.5 only because I want to create a potential for future meet ups to be out of this world even when compared to this quite entertaining and highly successful one. Anyway, it was really fun. ”

    • “ The only thing that would have made it better: If the setup had been such so that everyone could talk with each other, it kind of got split into two groups - the people on the right side of the table and the people on the left... Switching seats mid-way through was mentioned by a few people but never done (probably because food and drink were there and nobody was really pushing for it). Otherwise the company was great and I'm really glad I went ^.^v ”
