Neuroscience Book Discussion Group

The Neuroscience Book Discussion Group meetups are on 2nd Sundays of the month.

Our March discussion book will be Linden (2008) The Accidental Mind: How Brain Evolution Has Given Us Love, Memory, Dreams, and God

http://www.amazon.com/The-Accidental-Mind-Evolution-Memory/dp/0674030583/

This book is available in audio format.

We discuss each book two times so if you miss the first month you can join us the following month at our alternate location:

  • 2013 Mar in Plano:  Linden (2008) The Accidental Mind
  • 2013 Apr in Dallas:  Linden (2008) The Accidental Mind
  • 2013 May:  [to be determined; possibly "On Intelligence" or "Connectome"]

I'm sorry to cancel so late. I won't make today's meetup. I have a major job change affecting my availability at the moment. I believe I can make the May date, probably not April. And someday I'll figure out how to upload my photo!

Heya, meetups.com says there are no spots left to attend the meeting, so no one else can RSVP. Is this true, or can we come anyway? I'm thinking its a meetups glitch. We can always put two tables together in Cafe Brazil

That way if you missed the first Meetup you could catch the second.

Sounds good to me. Just to make sure I got this right :-) ... We meet this March 10th in Plano and again on April 14th in Dallas for Linden's book.
