SFN2 is starting back with a session with John M. O’Connell of the World Peace Campaign: Time Out for Peace Project which is located here in the Presidio of San Francisco.
John will start by leading us in some New Games. The goal is to use games to bring people together in positive interaction, -- to create fun, play, community and connection w/in the SFN2 community as a starting point for building World Peace.. As he’s done this successfully for the past 40 years w/groups from prison inmates to work teams and Execs at Oracle and Apple, this should be a fun activity and a good way to start building connections w/in SFN2.
Then John will talk about The World Peace Campaign/Time Out for Peace Plan and get the group actively involved in generating new strategy ideas based on each person's skills . WPC/TOPP is a 4-year strategic campaign, to avert a global collapse, -- through a 50 - year, "Time Out for Peace" -- creating an era of world peace and prosperity through military conversion & the adoption of a collaborative global development system . Seems far fetched, but now is the ideal time. With the w/effective use of social and mass media and a dedicated group of resourceful people, it can be done. The goal here will be to discuss the program but to also get ideas and involve members from our very talented SFN2 community.
For those who are new to SFNetSquared, we start with networking at 6pm, the event will start at 6:30pm and we'll end with another round of networking at the end where you can speak to John or others.
