What's your passion? What social good/technology project are you most excited about?

Using technology and media to connect people to the place they live. Really excited about bringing the ideas and methods of civic hacking into the enviro space.

What do you think is the most effective social web tool for nonprofits?

It has to be a mix -- Twitter for the newshounds, Facebook for the masses, Pinterest or Tumblr for the photo lovers, etc. I try not to look for a single tool to be most effective for the overall mission.

Introduction

Executive Director at Greeninfo.org. Was project director at Stamen.com, and before that magazine maker BayNature.org. Co-founder of nerdsfornature.org. Oaklander, woodworker, cook, hiker.
