About SF New Tech

The SF New Tech is the Bay Area's largest and longest running monthly tech event and community group, frequented by the likes of VCs, journalists, hackers, techies, recruiters, CEOs -- and you.

It's for people who want to see the latest and greatest new technology in their own backyard. SF New Tech is common ground and a place to build relationships with the tech community of San Francisco.

We're over 4000 strong, hail from over 1800 companies -- and guess what? We don't bite!

The format for SF New Tech is simple. We open the doors at 5:30 to let the schmoozing begin. At 7:30pm, 4-6 companies hit the stage for live 5 minute (sharp!) demos to show off their latest and greatest. After each, we get 5 minutes to comment, critique and ask questions of them. The room talks it out and it's good. After the demos, the mic is yours for The 60-Second Soapbox! Got a job opp? Looking for funding? Seeking work? Promoting an event? Take the mic and go -- it's yours for 60 seconds!
