We've got a GREAT event lined up for the March SF New Tech Meetup. We'll cover predictive, knowledge-based reputation engines, easy web-based document sharing, peer-to-peer tools for increased office productivity, and when the work day is done, how to have more fun with your digital music collection. Join us --- and spread the word! This event is shaping up to be standing room only -- so if you're eager to see the latest and greatest new tech, you'll need to RSVP that you'll be joining us sooner than later, or you'll risk getting shut out. Please note, for this event we're only accepting YES or NO RSVPs. (No more "Maybe"). If you RSVP "Yes" and don't show up, we'll make note of it and you'll be the first to be bumped out of future events. So, please only RSVP "Yes" if you will actually show up. Also, if you would like to bring a guest, they'll have to sign up to this group and RSVP on their own. Without further ado, here's the all-star cast ready and waiting to demo to you, the SF New Tech community: My-Currency http://www.my-currenc... By appearing in the 60 second soap box I was spotted by a journalist writing for the BBC who mentioned me in a blog and an article which led to a a number of people approaching me with various propositions for collaboration and potential employment. That's what's great about this meetup - it brings the right people together and things start happening.

This was a great meetup. It was a great turn out and some interesting products were presented. I really liked the beer selection and the fact that there was more than enough.

It was a good event, but as with previous times, the presentations went on WAY too long. It felt as though the time limits were broken, which resulted in a lagging feeling that severely impacted the pace.

As a presentor, the setting and the audience were very welcoming and provided a fun opportunity to present our Collanos Workplace application.
Sorry for not repeating the questions. Where did all the pizza go?

I liked hearing pitches from new companies, but was annoyed to hear from thinkfreely- I mean, it's been around for a while now. All in all very good group- definitely will attend again.

People asked a lot of good questions, but it'd be nice if the presenters could repeat the questions so that we can all hear what was being asked.

Well organized, gave the presenting entrepreneurs a lot of time to present and answer questions from the audience. The 60 second pitch is excellent. It would be great if it was incorporated into the website where it can be read by the entire membership.
