Hey Matthew - Looks like I am flying out of JFK@ 2:56, so will probably see you there. Hotel la quinta inn downtown. $95+tax we can split, let me know if your interested. Anyway, maybe we can make it to the parade in the French Qtrs.
Back-A-Yard and Coconuts are owned by the same people so their menus are somewhat similar. B-A-Y is more JA; whereas, Coco's is more pan-Carib. The food at B-A-Y is 2nd to none, my humble opinion. It's cheaper too! You'll have to tell me what you think. Good restaurants? I think I know a few. It depends on your taste buds and wallet tho. I'm vegetarian, so if you are into Ital let me know =). Welcome to MP. I lived/worked there for a few yrs. It's a nice central spot. Lots of good restaurants!
Welcome to the Bay Area my fellow Jamaican. I'm Lorna from the Western part of that beautiful Island. Have you discovered Back-A-Yard (restaurant) yet? It's a must.
