The explosion of advertiser tracking, both on mobile devices and the web, has led to new Engineering problems to combat the loss of individual privacy. To this effect, the SF Privacy Engineering group serves as a gathering point for developers who work on efforts to identify, quantify, or mediate privacy data on the web and mobile.
The purpose of the group is to help the Developer community network as well as learn and discuss engineering efforts in the Privacy space.
We're open to all kind of topics related to privacy engineering including, but not limited to, big data issues, browser technology, tracking technology, privacy policy technologies, etc.
The group is 100% volunteer, and is not affiliated with any professional organizations. Come as you are!
