Are you a RailsBridge alum or volunteer looking for work or working independently? I'm more focused on coding when others are around, so let's work together! Let's meet for a morning of coding that can go into the afternoon--or not--feel free to leave when you want. Have some good coffee, some good food, network a bit, ask questions, get help, share what you're working on, and focus on coding!
Arlequin Cafe is near the Van Ness MUNI station, and the MUNI lines that run on Van Ness. It has free wifi and outlets, great food and coffee, the music's not too loud and they are very welcoming to us.
There's a nice patio outside we can move to if there's room and it's nice out.
I will get there early enough to get some tables, but unfortunately if people don't arrive within a half hour of the start time, I'll have to give the tables away, so please be there near the time you say you will! If you come late we can still squeeze you in, but people get a little cranky when they see someone holding empty tables near the outlets. :-/
David Kim and I (both Railsbridge students) are putting together some open daytime coworking/colearning events for beginners as well. The first is on Wednesday 12/5:

John, anyone who is involved in RailBridge is welcome! I just like newbies to feel welcome! :) i'll be working on some backbone.js too or possibly some jQuery.

Is this for women only? I'm a RailsBridge volunteer/teacher and would love to get together for some Rails-centric coworking.
Also looking for a new Rails gig if anyone is seeking a skilled full-stack dev.
