Hi Chip, I work in SF and live in the East Bay. I'm interested in networking with other RoR developers all over the Bay. I also have space in SF to host a meetup of around 30 folks. I realize this is a North Bay group, but I'm just throwing the offer up here. I do travel a fair bit to spend time at interesting meetups :)

Steve Bockman is an old friend; we've known each other and worked together on various projects since the late 80's, including some agile work. He's well versed in Agile methodologies and is an engaging and capable facilitator/teacher. I hope you/we find the opportunity to connect.

Hi Chip, I saw the meetup for the Ruby group. I have a standing engagement on Thursdays, but might be able to come late. I was enthused to see the Agile flavor of the upcoming meetings, and I'm glad to see you joined this Meetup. I think there is a good cross-connect here; it would be great to see if we can do some meetings together. Perhaps you, Steve Bockman (Organizer of this Meetup) & I can work something out. Maybe the meeting you have in mind for Agile and Ruby would be a good opportunity.
