We had all had a great time at the SF TechCrunch Meetup in June. From the caricature cake of Michael Arrington to TechCrunch Jeopardy it was a lot of fun & the folks at Twilio & Social Gold were great hosts. The group is growing, we're now up to almost 500 members, with new people joining daily.
So I'm asking for suggestions about another meetup. It could be a party + networking like last time or short presentations by cool startups, etc. Let me know your ideas by emailing me.
Please email me directly at [address removed] (with "SFTC" in the subject line) and let me know:
a) what would you like to see at another SF TechCrunch Meetup?
b) are you interested in being an assistant organizer to help organize the SF TechCrunch on an ongoing basis? If so, please tell me a little about yourself & what you'd like to do (member communications, event management, etc.). Please include some info about yourself - eg. your LinkedIn link, twitter and any other info that would help me know who you are. There will always be opportunities to help at specific events, but I'd like to know if you would like to commit (yes, commit!) to help organizing the group and any future activities on an ongoing basis. I've had a few inquiries so I'd like to open it up to let everyone have a chance to put their organizing hat into the ring for consideration.
Please email me directly: [address removed] & include "SFTC" in the subject line.
As always, feel free to link in with me here: www.linkedin.com/in/robross
The SF TechCrunch Party was originally started in honor of TechCrunch's 5 year anniversary. The group now organizes events which are relevant to Startups, developers, and entrepreneurship in the bay area.
