Dear Developers!

Let me introduce you Netlife team's very best Symfony developer and blogger, Adam Prager. He's going to present Doctrine performance optimization.

You can find more information about Adam's work at http://netlife.hu/blog/ and https://github.com/Padam87, such as jQuery SmartSearch or Padam87SearchBundle.

After his presentation, we will discuss possible topics for the next meetup and chat about Symfony.

If you want to meet him, and of course us, RSVP, because there is an attendee limit of 20 people!

See you then!

Dear Attendees! Because it's our office, we don't really have a bar. We will buy some coke, ice tea and mineral water, but if you need anything else, please bring along (beer or whatever you want to drink).

Thank you, and see you in a few hours!

Sorry, wanted to post the topic earlier, but had some meetings yesterday.

So, since mostly experienced developers decided to come, this will not be an introduction to symfony.
My presentation will be about Doctrine and performance, we will talk about some performance related issues, and how to solve them.

This will take up an hour max. (45 mins is the plan)

Any details to share? About presentations, discussion topics? I would like a bit detailed info on the meeting place, how to find it. Thanks! :)

I would like to have a talk about authentication/authorization in SF2 as those look a bit over complicated for me right now (in comparison of some ruby gems).
Although I want to hear some very advanced stuff. If I don't understand them at first I could make a search on them later.

    Hi Everyone!

This time we thought we would try something a little bit "more formal" than before, and prepare with some presentations as well.

I have a few ideas about the topic of my presentation, but I won't make the final decision until we have information about the attendees. As you can see, there are both experienced symfony developers, and beginners in the group, so it's not easy to find a topic that would interest both.

This could be a general introduction to Symfony2, with an emphasis on Doctrine for beginners, or something more specific if more experienced developers are attending.

What is your opinion, what would you like to hear about?

If you would like to make your own presentation, please email one of the organizers.

    Many thanks,
    Adam

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
