The Singapore Linux July Meetup

Dear members,

Yet again, I am on business travel this month and had to miss the meetup.
We have to start shifting gear and focus on our main event this year :
Software Freedom Day 2008 Singapore.

We have decided that the event will be held in School of Information Systems, SMU on Sat 20 Sep 2008.
The format will be we have workshop/seminar at the NSR (Network Seminar Room) as well as a exhibition on 5th floor Multipurpose Function Hall.

Activities and What we need now:
a. Companies and Organizations to present/speak on FOSS (Free and Open Source Software)
b. Companies/Organizations/SLMG/LUGS to exhibit/demo in 5th floor MultiPurpose Function Room
c. Giveaways and contests

We need SLMG members to help publicise the event in your workplace, school etc. I will have posters coming up soon. Please refer to main site www.softwarefreedomday.org
