Health UP hackathon
Health UP is being organized from 17th to 19th May 2013 by UP Singapore, in partnership with Medtronic and Health Promotion Board (HPB).
Tackling the issues of diabetes management and workplace health, the event will bring together a broad spectrum of healthcare professionals, researchers, policy makers, design thinkers, developers, data scientists, and creatives who want to create real ways to help people live healthier lives.
Health UP will feature access to APIs from the National Health Platform (NHP), rich and detailed diabetes patient data, as well as never-before-seen datasets from HPB. Additionally we will be providing tools and devices from Amazon Web Services, SAP and Samsung.
Medtronic is setting a Diabetes Challenge for the UP community - to create new conversations around diabetes using data as a lens: imagine data visualisation of your blood glucose readings, sharing data between patient and doctor, or between family members. The best solutions will receive up to $25,000 in seed funding.
