Hi All,

Due to popular demand, we have reintroduced the weekday meetup for those who cannot do weekends. We will continue to work with LUGS and continue to publish all the details of the Saturday event. We will be scheduling our new meetups on the second Wednesday of every month. So this actually make it three official Linux meeting per month!!!!

Suse: 1st Wed
SLMG: 2nd Wed
LUGS: 3rd Sat

Now that's Awesome.

So what we will be trying to do is to have progressive learning and netorking sessions. We encourage all levels of people to join in. Newbie who will be coming to learn and gurus to teach and provide input.

So with that said we are going to start with a session on dual booting linux and Windows and later I will do a short session on running VMWare Player with a Windows image.

1900 - 1930 - BOOTUP - SLMG agendas, anything else from users, and setup presentation

1930 - 2030 - Dual Booting Linux/Windows and VMWare Player

2030 - 2045 - Q&A

2045 - 2115 - Socializing
2115 > - Afterhours meetups

Hope to see all of you at the next meetup. I will publish the venue when I get it.

The attendance was surprisingly good after such a long break from the last meetup.

More demonstrations will be even better. It may be good for all laptops available to be turned on and when some great stuff show up, those can be shared with the rest immediately by everyone crowding around that laptop. It will let more people open up easily.
