Thanks for that, hope you got a chance to go through some of the threads I quoted, should I at least send an email to Acer Singapore based on that? :)
Now the question is, such thing even possible here in Pro Microsoft Singapore?
What has "Pro-Microsoft" got to do with it?
Yesterday, while I was there at Suntec, I inquired about Dell Ubuntu Latitude 2120, and they said they don't sell any Dell Laptops without windows pre-loaded. And in the other stalls people haven't heard about laptops being sold with out Windows; thats what has to do with my "Pro-Microsoft" comment.
So Anyone? Any suggestions? Of course it's not about the $50 I may get, as some of you would understand.

And Sanjeev, I
hope lack of further responses from you, is not because I replied to
"Sanjay" instead of "Sanjeev" I am sorry about that, I hope you already
know the reason for yesterdays "mishaps" :) If you are the same person I think you are, whom I met on LUGS AGM 2009(August), I know you will forgive me for that mistake :)
Naah, I have been called much worse :-)
