QT and OpenGL | Need help

Hi all

I want to make some programs on OpenGL.

I have learnt some programs from OpenGL Redbook by Vim + gcc + Mesa + GLUT before. You know there are like C program.

But I think I should need a GUI Tool. I read documents on QT OpenGL module. However, I can not run some model programs, such as Framebuffer Object, pixel buffers, which from /usr/lib/share/qt4/example/opengl.
QT use OpenGL module, and its OpenGL API,not Mesa and GLUT. There are C++. But I don't find any tutorial under QT. So I don't know how to make program under QT......

However, there are many tutorials in C, OpenGL Redbook, Nehe, and they use Mesa and GLUT... How to set path in QT?

Could you give me some examples or any other else? Many thanks....

Which GUI tool is better ? Kdevelop ?

Okay, I think I'd better use Mesa+GLUT.

Finally, I use Vim(with OpenGL script) + Mesa +GLUT. Kdevelop also can do that , but it can not be high lighten on OpenGL syntax.

I run the Framebuffer Object and pixel buffers on Windows, and it also has the same problem...

It all depends on your goals and needs. Here is some links you can have a look at:

Everyone with a interest in 3D and Linux should have a look at Blender:

OpenAL is for sound, but it is known to be less than perfect. SDL might be easier for sound, but it has less features.

The game sites have links to different games you can learn from:

Ask the mailing lists for the different projects for advice.
