Game Day at Curtis Library, Brunswick

Hey, fellow game peeps! Hope you can join me for a game day at my library. Brunswick also has some great restaurants. Well worth the trip up from Portland and Portsmouth! Sarah

On Saturday, March 9, Curtis Memorial Library will host special all-ages gaming programs and events to celebrate our national love of video, card, role-playing and board games. Games run throughout the day, 10 am to 4 pm. So bring your friends and get your game on!

The library will have a Wii set up and board games available for all ages, including Scrabble, Battleship, checkers, Taboo and Apples to Apples. There will also be tables reserved for BYOBG (bring your own board game). Bring your favorite strategy, Euro, and family board games or try something new and fun from our collection. Please join in and add to the fun! Come for one game or stay for the day. Registration is not required.

For more information, contact the reference desk at Curtis Library[masked] x 510. The library is located at 23 Pleasant Street in Brunswick.

Thank you all so much for coming!!!! It was great to have my Scarborough game peeps meet my Brunswick game peeps. I hope everyone got to try new games, enjoy old games, and found something to add to their game wish list.

Very well done Sarah, looking forward to the next one! (I'm guessing June? Hope it's a cool or rainy day!)

I just realized I have a conflict in the morning, and won't be able to come until afternoon. And I need to rush out, at 4 by the latest, to be at a 5:00 commitment in Portland. Does anyone want to carpool up?

Yay, Tom! Glad you won't be gig'n all day! Had a great time playing Smallworld and Pandemic last Sunday. Thanks for bringing them.

Laura - I'll try to find as gluten-free a restaurant as possible for lunch. I may not be able to join you, though. Officially, I'm working. Looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
