Sunday Game Night in Scarborough

It's time for another Sunday Game Night! This one's in Scarborough, where we'll gather to play board games. Never been to one of these before? What are you waiting for?

Some quick notes about using Tim Horton's:
#1 - Keep the volume at a reasonable level (no shouting about rules, and don't overdo any gloating).
#2 - Use as few tables as possible - put unused stuff in a corner on the floor and bus your dishes if needed.
#3 - It's a business - be a customer (how can you resist all those treats?)
#4 - If the staff have a concern, be polite, and take care of it.

I will be setting an RSVP limit of 12 to make it easier to fit the location - this can and will be adjusted if needed.

I had a thought yesterday, how about considering The Complex on Sunday evenings instead of Tim Horton? Make it from 4-8, instead of 1-4 or 6-9?

      I just don't like Tim's in general...kinda sterile. LOL

Tables are too small for some games too. That is why we go to the Complex sometimes.

I went to the website for The Complex and from the pix it's obviously a "boys night out" kind of place, and I don't care for role playing/war games. What about using both locations and those who want to play those games that require more table space go to the Complex, and use Tim Horton's for everyone else. That would cut down on the number going to Tim Horton's and we wouldn't have to set a limit.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
