TRIVIA NITE AT JIMMY THE GREEK'S behind Maine Mall

Jimmy's gets a large turnout (15-20 teams) vying for prizes (and/or bragging rights)--good music, good food, good company.  Let's put the flotsam and jetsam and lagan floating around in our brains together and learn a lot of useless stuff.

Watch for our table sign.

Scarboro Gamers (Reid, Nikki, Jackie and myself) came in second, winning a t-shirt and beer glasses. Our other team, Team Rocket (Shel, Megan, Leslee, Nate and Glenn were winning until the final bonus question--what kind of feathers are used for Big Bird's costume (excluding tail)?--Ans. turkey. Afterward, during karaoke, Nikki sang--a very brave lady).

Thanks Ann! There are so many topics to pick from on www.jetpunk.com. It can keep one busy for hours! Great mental floss and prep for many Qs on FRI nights at Jimmy's.

Hope you gave the burr puzzle a try. That type is a classic mechanical puzzle, typically made of exotic woods. I'm not great at these types myself. Wow, what an admission from a mechanical puzzler! I think I'll go and hide

I took Shel's advice and took a look at jetpunk.com where you can pick a topic. I'm going to bone up on geography. I hope someone will try the sports questions.
