Last Night on Earth

Last Night on Earth is a zombie themed strategy game. I picked up the first expansion for this at PAX and had a blast playing it there, so I want to try a get a group together to play it again. If you haven’t played or seen the TableTop episode, its basic premise is that the humans (played by 2-4 players) try to complete a scenario, while the zombies (played by 1-2 people) try to kill them. There can be up to 6 players. The game is fairly easy to learn and is not overly complicated. One of the things I love about this game is how stories tend to emerge while playing, thanks to some deviously evil cards at the Zombies disposal.

I am open to suggestions for time and place. I was thinking somewhere near the mall, like Books A Million or Burger King (which has surprising good seating for board games), since it’s easy to get to by bus.

Sheriff Anderson, Detective Rachelle, Nurse Becky, and Jake Cartwright the Drifter split up and spent the night searching for materials to blow up the house that seemed to be the source of the zombies. By morning they had found what they needed and converged on the house. Poor sheriff Anderson couldn't hit the broad side of a barn though and perished in the early hours of the morning, but not before rescuing the farmer's daughter Jenny.

Poor Rachelle and Becky. They were too busy fighting over who would light the fire, they didn't notice, until it was too late, that Jake had already lit it and bailed.

Don't forget about Nurse Becky and Sheriff Anderson's love/hate relationship.

Assuming it's available, I'll be grabbing the big table in the corner. I'll also be at least 15 minutes early, to start getting the game ready.

Hey there. Just noticed this is still listed as "suggested." I'll go ahead and announce it if you want. I may be able to join you. I've been wanting to try this game.

Hi Scott. Go ahead and announce it, in case anyone else wants to join. We can have up to 6 players in total. Thanks!

It would be better for me if it were pushed for next week. I am moving everything down from Frankfort this week, and I believe Saturday is one of the trips. Sorry I didn't get back sooner.

No problem. I will push it back to the 24th.

I've set the date for Saturday May 17th. If anyone interested can’t make it that day, I am willing change it. I’m leaning towards Burger King, by the Mall, as a location because they have a couple of perfect sized tables for this game. I am open to other suggestions though.

I'd be up for it, best time for me would be a Saturday ~4pm, but could make other days/times work.

Cool! A Saturday at 4 works for me too. If at least 1 or 2 more people are interested, then we can figure out exactly when and where.
