Strategy gaming @ Grinders

We've been looking for extended strategy-game sessions and our first visit to Grinder's went so well we decided to make it a regular thing.  (and they're ok with us bringing our own food as well as our own games)

Grinders Games have their own in-store game library for us to use:

  • Android: Netrunner
  • Ascension
  • Puerto Rico
  • FRAG
  • Apples to Apples
  • Agricola
  • Carcassone
  • Munchkin
  • WoW: the Board Game
  • Eve
  • Ledgendary
  • Nightfall
  • Thunderstone
  • Penny Arcade: The Board Game

Had to change my RSVP to No. Very bummed out, but there's a good reason for it: Conjunctivitis. I'm sure none of you want me spreading it all over your games. Instead, we'll have a movie marathon with our son. His favorite movie; "Star Wars: A New Hope" and then his first time seeing "Empire Strikes Back". Can't wait to see his reaction to it.
Will try for gaming next Sunday. Sorry, and have fun.

I may not arrive until mid-afternoon, but hope to be there for a couple of games at least.

If it's just us adults showing up, Tamara said she may stay back home with our little one. I'm planning on bringing the two Mystery games and my Netrunner game along. If Grinders has a copy of Love Letter, I'm going to get that and will be set to play it, too.

My wife and six-year old son are coming. We'll bring some kid-friendly games - I have A LOT!

I'll bring both. Mystery Express has a bit more fiddly stuff with it (and it's really cool); Mystery of the Abbey is what we called "Clue on Steroids"

Good luck Matt! I plan on heading over at last.
Thomas, I'm very interested in Mystery Express or (even more so) Mystery of the Abbey if those interest anybody. My collection of (mostly older and mostly kid-centered) games is here http://www.boardgamegeek.com/collection/user/Cooz if anyone's got a retro itch that needs scratching.

I'll be bringing Android Netrunner along, if anyone wants to learn how to play. Check out http://boardgamegeek.com/collection/user/thomas%20d -- if there is anything you'd like me to bring, that list is mostly accurate.

Hey all! This will be my first hosted event, with the group. Let's get at least four RSVPs to make sure this event happens.
