A tour of the Japanese Cemetery Park
Why the cemetery tour?
Because it is a good place to learn about the early Japanese settlers in Singapore. The place itself is peaceful with a nice garden and a shinto shrine. Check out some pictures from our last visit to this place in 2007.
Date: Sunday, 19th April
Time: 11 AM
Meeting Point: Ang Mo Kio bus interchange (inside the AMK hub mall, near the AMK MRT). Come to Berth 2, We will be taking the bus number 73 (30 minutes ride)
Contact: Call/SMS me (Preetam) at 97504983 if you have trouble finding the place.
It is an open space so please bring water/umbrellas etc. There is also a drink vending machine at the park. After the cemetery tour, we will go to Chomp Chomp food centre for lunch.

Thanks also to Erik and Hyejin for talking and presenting their recent trip to Bandung. Their presentation is available here.
