I'd have to say probably King Lear -- at this stage of my life, although I love (in no particularly order) Othello, Macbeth, Richard III, Henry IV (esp part I), As you Like It, Troilus and Cressida -- and of course that most miraculous of all, The Tempest

What a wonderful idea! One suggestion: discussions at every stage, from beginning to end would be so much much better, if participants could read the play all the way through at least once -- BEFORE the first meeting. That way we can discuss, say, the relevance of an early scene to a later scene without spoiling anyone's fun ...
