Microsoft Office at the Aon Center (map)
September is right around the corner, which means it's time to restart The Chicago Microsoft SharePoint Business Strategies Group!
SharePoint 2010 is here, and many organizations are hard at work building their implementation roadmap. Some organizations are starting fresh with SharePoint 2010 while many others are contemplating a migration strategy from SharePoint 2007 or previous versions. After this session, you will possess a solid understanding of the options your organization should consider as you migrate to SharePoint 2010.
Please join us for pizza and SharePoint "brain food" at next meeting: on September 14th at 6:00 PM at:
New Location:
Microsoft's office

Hope to get a chance to ask about office web tools and sharepoint 2010 demo. What I've seen so far - seems they've intentionally blocked testing of the web apps addon on the demo product.
Hope that's a decision they'll reconsider - lot of potential power in the office web apps combined w/sharepoint 2010 - letting people test drive - seems like a good idea to me...
