Here is a little known fact about SharePoint 2010 - The Content Query Web Part (which comes with SharePoint 2010) is sort of like a swiss army knife. It offers a fantastic and versatile way to display data in useful and unique ways. When you combine this powerful web part with content types, metadata and audience targeting you have a great way to give personalized dynamic access to the information your organization needs!
This month we’ll look at look at some interesting real world solutions created with the Content Query Web Part to create low maintenance publishing sites, dashboards, administrative views and more.
