Shark Protectorate of San Diego: A focus grp of Power Scuba

This is the San Diego-based SHARK PROTECTORATE (A focus group of Power Scuba) . We are activists set against the use of shark fin in San Diego, California, and beyond. More generally, we are involved in the overall conservation of the many shark species currently in trouble.

AB 376, outlawing the use of shark fin in California, was passed in 2011. Vendors were given all of 2012 to use up their reserve stocks. Will that be the end of it? Will all vendors (restaurants, stores, etc) quit trafficking in shark fin? Experience shows that, perhaps, not ALL vendors will stop trading in fins.

 That's where we will come in.

Make no mistake: This is an ACTION and FOCUS group of the non-profit Power Scuba ( www.powerscuba.org). Join only if you intend to get involved and make your voice heard on the issue of shark conservation. Your particpation, in a myriad of forms, is mandatory.
