Yes Edward--I also hope it doesn't rain--so far, I don't remember it ever raining on the day of a King Mango Strut (and I've been going every year for at least ten years!) but, there's always a first time--and it sure has been raining a lot in Miami lately!

I think that we're just doing our own thing--if you see me shooting pictures in front of Le Bouchon du Grove restaurant say "hello!"

I was going to go anyway--I've gone EVERY year for the last 10 years and it's always a lot of fun. The "Strut" as Grovites refer to it, takes place every year, on the last Sunday of the year--it is a parade--but a parade that is a parody of all of the big news events of the passing year. It's GREAT to photograph some of the crazies marching down Main Highway (they wrap around and proceed up Grand Avenue after they get down to the end of Main Highway at the center of Coconut Grove (where Main, Grand, and Mc Farland meets).
