SEAS Monmouth 2012 Basic Sailing Courses
Learn To Sail Red Cross certified sailing instructors Combined classroom and hands-on instruction will give the adult beginning sailor the skills and confidence to operate a small sailboat. The course includes four classroom sessions and two weekend sailing sessions, (rescheduled if inclement weather), on the scenic Shrewsbury River aboard Lasers or 14-17 foot sloops.
Successful completion of the course leads to a Red Cross Basic Sailing certificate. Swimming test is required at the second class and students are required to provide a life preserver for the water sessions. Ages 18 and up only.

Remember that all courses are taught by Red Cross certified instructors Water sessions are subject to rescheduling because of weather - rain date is the next day or as arranged by instructors. Cost is only $199, including text book. Must be able to swim. Each student must supply a PFD (life jacket) for the water sessions.
