National Geographic called it the place "Where Valor Rests." The Arlington National Cemetery chronicles American history with the headstones of America's heroes. It also provides many opportunities to stretch your creative photographic skills. You have the well known Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Eternal Flame of the Kennedy Grave, and the Memorial Amphitheater. If you wander away from those sights however, you'll find opportunities abound in the rows of headstones and memorials. Let's meet at 3 pm at the Visitor's Center. That gives us a couple hours to get our best of the cemetery. If you still have energy, we can stroll down the Memorial Bridge and catch some of the monuments at sunset.
