I have two projects right now: my urban fantasy novel that I have been on break from for three years, but probably wrote most of it in my head over that time. What I can't do is get past the "_" blinking on my screen. For some reason I can write perfectly well at 3am while visiting far away friends or scribbling weird hieroglyphics while being thrown around standing on the MTA. But I can't do it at home in my cushy chair in front of my overpriced laptop. And I can't quit writing, the characters demand their stories told. The second project is a short story/novella that I started writing with my sister. Think Doctor Who teams up with Tomb Raider to take down alien overlords. Silly as it sounds, but super fun to write. Well if I can get past the scene in floating Tokyo 3... hover-boards, eels and cabbages.
I have multiple projects like writing my urban fantasy novel, producing an audio drama, and creating recipes for my cookbook or new blends for my tea company.
Fun and productive.
