Alfred Zapalla at The Italian American Museum + Dinner

Hi Vincent

I will be addressing the Italian American Museum... on Wednesday February 20th ...
Any chance of you helping me get a meet up group...?   Help, Alfred _____________________________________________________ The Italian American Museum is in the heart of Little Italy (corner of Mulberry and Grand Streets). Let's celbrate Alfred's new book: FIGGHIU BEDDU and also find out more about his Sicilian Project in Sicily. We will have dinner at 7:45 after Alfred's talk at one of many restaurants in the area. As of Monday, Feb. 18th, I have chosen Amicci II Restaurant at 165 Mulberry St. I've been there before and like the place.  Amici II - Home

Another fun night with pleasant and interesting conversations! Alfred gave a passionate and informative presentation for the Sicilian Project! I hope it inspires more people to donate...

A wonderful presentation by a lively speaker-- it's nice to know there are others who are as passionate for Sicily as I am and that there are ways of helping our beloved island. Thanks to Alfred for all his work. Thanks also to Vincent, whose dedication to the group provided another great setting and meal! As always, it was a special treat to see all my friends! A presto, amici!

Alfred Zapalla is a exceptionally engaging speaker with an important message. It was equally delightful to participate in his dinner conversation after the talk in the museum.

I also checked out La Mela online and I walked by it last week -- it looked cute, perhaps not as lovely an ambiance as Amici II but both have menus similar in price. I'm up for either one. Vincent, we're never disappointed with your choices, so go for it! A presto!

Hi, Vincent and all-- Having never been to Amici II I checked it out online and it does seem like a great choice. The prices for the pasta dishes are reasonable and the place has an "authentic" feel (as much as you can garner online!! Looking forward to this special evening with you all--- Ci vediamo (or, "Ci videmu!!)

I have not been to a restaurant in Little Italy in over a decade. I went
on trip advisor and Sophia's at 143 Mulberry Street sounds good and is very close. Here is the website http://www.sofiaslittleitaly.co...

It's been some time since I've been to any of the restaurants in Little Italy. I feel many of them no longer offer authenticate Italian food.
