BTW, we hired the entire Restaurant for our Private Event. So we don't have to compete with other patrons!

Alfred sent me the folowing letter on Jan. 14th:

Hi Vincent, How are you? I have been busy getting my life back in order and getting ready to move to Sicily. In any event, my friend John Keahey had a very nice time at his book signings in NYC he told me, and I would like to know if there is a possibility that I might be able to do one or several  as well for two reasons (1) to speak about my 2 books and (2) to spread the word about The Sicilian Project, a non-profit that a group of us are in the process of forming so that we can teach English to Sicilian elementary, high school, and college students and most importantly, to English teachers there as well... I would like to briefly discuss the possibility of helping me coordinate one or more speaking engagements. Karen Larosa has agreed to join the Board, as has Gaetano Cippola and Alexandra Durso Ph.D . There are also many other qualified people, involved with the group, who love Sicily and want to see her bi-lingual...  Everything is done in Sicily, now we have to spread the word fast in America...
