A very happy farewell to the Holiday Season in great company with lots of good food and wine. Loved Vinnie's enlightening of all of us as regards the Befana. A warm and cozy gathering on a cold winter's night. Many thanks to Vinnie again for all his efforts.

This was just amazing -- the food, the wine, the people and most of all Vincent and Giusto a quite wonderful way to celebrate Sicilian culture in New York.

Meraviglioso-- what a great evening! The food was wonderful; the chef was able to prepare alternate selections because of my allergies--so very grazioso and accommodating! The wine-- fantastico; the company, as always, warm and friendly. Thanks to Vincent for another well-organized and fun event. I look forward to seeing you all soon. A presto, Rosaria :-)

Hi, Vincent-- I have a bunch of allergies but the only problem here are the pine nuts... Since both 3rd courses have pine nuts, would it be possible to get the pork skewer without the pine nuts? Could we tell them in advance? Hoping they can do that, otherwise I can't have the 3rd course at all. Please let me know, ok? Looking forward to seeing everyone!
    Buone Feste!

Hi Vincent, while I would love to return to Cacio e Vino, doing this before year end isn't possible for me. So sorry. Could we schedule something in late January or early February? All the best, Ann

Sorry we can not attend, but once again the month of December is extremely difficult for us to find free time to enjoy a great meal with the group...Our calendar is full with family and business commottments. In addition to planning Christmas eve and day dinners for 30 persons...
God Bless and keep your spirits up...Merry Christmas to all...Buon Natale a tutti...

I can hear your frustration and I can't blame you. I don't know about this next meetup for the discussion-- it all depends on the day and time, due to my work schedule.... I can't make it on the 16th, because I have tickets for a previous engagement.... You work hard on our meetup group and we all know it; don't be discouraged-- maybe 15 is too optimistic. How about 10? Thanks for all you do! A presto, amico,
    Rosaria

Buona sera, Signor Titone! Okay, I just didn't want you getting all upset!! Fifteen is more fun, of course, but everyone's lives are so busy.... Anyway, let us know as soon as you have definite date(s) and time(s)-- I can never respond until I know that.... Ciao!

    How about:

"Sicilian Sex Ghost" lecture and slideshow at Morbid Anatomy on Dec. 11th. It looks interesting.

    or

Saint Athanasius Christmas Show on Dec 22nd. Perhaps we could go to Ortobello's (down the block) for dinner.

    or

Maria Terrone (Sicilian-American) poetry reading at Cornelia Street Cafe on Dec 10th (6 PM). Afterward we could go to Keste pizzeria (around the corner)
