I am Italian- American(not Sicilian, unfortunately), but I love everything about Sicily. Have been there at least four times and loved every trip!! I speak some Italian and understand some dialect.

Please tell us if you have ever been to Sicily and why you are interested in joining this group.

I have taveled extensively in Sicily and would like to meet people who the same love and appreciation of the Sicilian culture

I speak and read Italian on an intermedite level. Am currently taking an advanced class. Understand some basic words in Sicilian

Sicily is a beautiful land-the people, the food , the climate, the history. I never had a bad day while in Sicily

What would you like to learn most about Sicily and its food? What are your interests?

I would like to know more about the people of Sicily and the origins of the colorful Sicilian dialect

Have you tasted the food & wine of Sicily? What do you know about it?

yes , many times- lots of good fresh seafood, wonderful vegetables, the best fresh figs and outstanding gelato I drink Sicilian wine all the time
