We will be going to do the KIFIT (Kananaskis Integrated Forest Interpretive Trail). Located on Hwy 68 near Sibbald's Flats, it is an easy way to begin our year. It will take us through various landscapes with interpretive signs along the way. At the end there are benches to sit on and be rewarded with views of Mt. Baldy, Yamnuska and Goat Mountain. It will have some patches of snow and mud so expect varying conditions.

CARPOOLING AND GETTING THERE:
We try to eliminate as much of our carbon footprint as possible by carpooling, and also have the group arrive together to make it enjoyable for all. Please try to be at MEC by 8:45 at the latest so that we can load and go on time.
When responding could you please let us know on the conversation board if you are a driver with room for others, or if you are a rider in need of transport. It really helps us organize the outing and makes sure that whoever wants to join us can do so. We suggest a stipend of $5 per passenger to cover the cost of fuel. Thanks and see you all on Sunday!
