This outing will have us explore one of Alberta's newest provincial parks. It has more than 1,300 hectares of foothills parkland. Glenbow Ranch is sited on the north bank of the Bow River and preserves and protects significant natural features, including endangered ecosystems and rare species. It also provides a unique opportunity to showcase the history of ranching and the historic Glenbow townsite. The park has many interpretive displays throughout and also has facilities in several spots. It is child and dog friendly and considered a moderate hike.
WHAT TO BRING:
*Good hiking shoes or boots
*Non-cotton clothing and rainwear (if needed)
(I would suggest bringing layers as the day will fluctuate)

*A camera to record the day
