Saturday: We will start the day early and head to the visitor center where we will get a good briefing on any last minute changes in trail conditions and any other last minute pernant information before heading out on our morning hike. The hikes we will be doing are to be determined, based on participant input before the start of the trip. Check out the hiking page. There are many beautiful hikes to chose from, can't go to wrong on many of them. At the end of our day hike, we will return to the visitor center and take the shuttle up to the Quarry Exhibit Hall to explore the history of the dinosaurs that used to walk the grounds we hiked on during the day.

Sunday: We will continue exploring the majestic monument with additional day hikes within the park and really exploring the history, culture, and beauty of this area. We will plan to be out all day away from our campsite exploring the monument.

Costs: We will split the camping fee of $36 ($4.5 per person) and you are asked to help with any carpooling fuel costs if the drivers. We suggest $0.10 per mile, but the driver and carpooler can make prior arrangements. We will help set up carpool arrangements ahead of time.

Sign-up Restrictions: You must be in good physical condition to attend this trip as some of the hikes will be pretty moderate, especially with any heat.

Bring: 10 essentials, camping gear, water containers that can hold up to 2 quarts of water, food, snacks.
