Sierra Club exists to: Explore, Enjoy, and Protect the Planet. Which one, or more, are you most interested in, exploring, enjoying, or protecting? And why?
I'm intersted in all three, as I feel that they come as a package deal. How could you explore without enjoyment, or protect without exploring? I love the outdoors and look forward to spending more time in them.
Sierra Club functions by allowing volunteers to run things. Are you more interested in participating in, helping out a leader, or leading our activities, activism, and/or advocacy?
I would be interested in participating or helping out a leader.
Are you a Sierra Club member? (If you are, then you receive the Sierra Magazine. In Colorado, you also receive the Rocky Mountain Chapter's printed/mailed Peak and Prairie newsletter.)
No I am not currently a member.
Suggest some activities, activism, and advocacy topics that you'd like to see us offer, so long as it fits with our mission to Explore, Enjoy, and Protect the Planet.
I would love to get to know the trails around Denver better, and also participate in some volunteer clean ups.
I moved to Denver three years ago, and have recently started working as a Realtor. With my career change I look forward to a more flexible schedule and the opportunity to get more involved in my community.
