Sierra Club exists to: Explore, Enjoy, and Protect the Planet. Which one, or more, are you most interested in, exploring, enjoying, or protecting? And why?

1st - protecting 2nd - enjoying 3rd - exploring I don't know WHY, I've just always loved nature since I was but a wee child!

Sierra Club functions by allowing volunteers to run things. Are you more interested in participating in, helping out a leader, or leading our activities, activism, and/or advocacy?

Depends on the activity and the need of the club. I always kind of go where I'm most needed. I am a certified public relations practitioner so I end up doing a lot of events, lobbying, dealing with media, and organizing ...

Are you a Sierra Club member? (If you are, then you receive the Sierra Magazine. In Colorado, you also receive the Rocky Mountain Chapter's printed/mailed Peak and Prairie newsletter.)

Suggest some activities, activism, and advocacy topics that you'd like to see us offer, so long as it fits with our mission to Explore, Enjoy, and Protect the Planet.

I'd like to see more education on the oil and gas industry's produced water problem ... often lumped in with fracking, which can create produced water, but there's lots more water being polluted than what you hear about from fracking.

Hi - I've been active in Sierra Club in Orlando and Seattle and on the board of the Friends of Wekiva River in Florida. I'm now a partner in a firm (IX Power) offering a new-better way to clean up the water from oil & gas extraction: OrganiClear.
