Developed on the Asian continent by our ancestors thousands of years ago, Ayurveda is the oldest known natural health care system.

Today, Ayurveda is gaining popularity as people are tired of the "a pill for every ill" mentality.

The word "Ayurveda"  translates as the "knowledge of life" or "the science of life"

Ayurveda teaches us how identify and address the causes of disease, not just symptoms and helps us re-balance our life using a cache of tools, including:

• Daily Routine  (daily habits, what time you wake up, what time do you go to bed, eat lunch, walk....)

• Diet  (huge piece of the life puzzle!  Learn life saving recipes in cooking classes and private dinners)

• Spices/Herbs  (turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, chamomile, tulsi.... learn how to use them!...)

• Plant based Oils (organic, cold pressed sesame, coconut, sunflower, avocado, food!!!)

• Organic Essential Oils.  (these are therapeutic and professional oils I use on my clients at a fraction of the cost of other oils.  These are not network marketing oils)

• Massage therapy.  (learn self care and self massage techniques I will teach you)

• Yoga   (Yoga is not an exercise class!  Learn the true meaning of yoga and how it can help you)

• Pranayama    (breathing exercises for cleansing, oxygenating and creating space)

• Meditation     (techniques for connecting to our spirit by quieting the mind ...ahhh bliss!)

There is usually always an Introduction to Ayurveda Seminar on the schedule.   Because our space is limited and to help cover expenses there is a nominal charge.    This is a great way to take a sneak peak and find out if you are ready to learn about this ancient science.

In the introductory sessions, you will learn the basic elements of Ayurveda and if you are interested, you may return for more in-depth lessons, in which I will expand on the individual tools and their applications.

Everyone is welcome to attend the meet-ups so please don't hesitate to send me a "request to join."

I look forward to meeting you,
