I lost the information on my phone from this meetup. Does anyone have the information about jobs that was posted on the wall in the back? Also does anyone have any information on the people who went up and gave their one minute pitch? Any help would be huge. Thanks.
July 16
Thank you to David, Jose, Christina and of course, Shri Chawla for providing the venue. I had a very rewarding experience hearing the pitches and seeing how enthusiastic the community is for new ideas and startups. I thought the presentations went really well -- and I have complete empathy for anyone who got up to make their pitch. I do think Murthy's suggestions will bring anyone's presentation to a higher level and make the whole process feel more polished for presenter and audience alike.

Thank you David and Jose for organizing this! It's been a great experience presenting, meeting other entrepreneurs, and learning. It's rewarding developing my pitch and hearing feedback. In two weeks I think we will have a polished pitch, and it wouldn't have been possible without SV Entrepreneurs!

Sorry, I had to keep the post brief because of the 500 character limitation. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.
As Founders/Co-Founders/CEO, it is important to give presentations to customers and investors, but most of us are techies at the core.
Best to all. I loved meeting all.

Great passion shown in the presentations by all. Few suggestions, in brief:
1. Start with a high level overview of your company - type, people, etc
2. Tell what void your product will fill in the marketplace
3. Don't list the features of your product, address how it will benefit the customer
4. Tell them what you’re going to show, show it, then tell them what you showed. Know your audience.
5. Advisable to check (techy) logistics, like projector, connection etc. before hand.

It was great meeting other co-founders while learning some other new apps and services available. I'm on a mission trying to find a hungry front-end co-founder to compliment our team and take our service user experience to the next level. Check out www.FavFolder.com for more information.
Special thanks to the event organizers for putting this together for us.

I loved the event. I'm still looking for a partner to help with a few mobile apps for small business (Mobile Location Tracking, Timecard, Payments, dispatch). I need a graphics guy and a marketing guy. Code is almost completed for iPhone and Android and ready for the next step. Funding will be the next hurdle since I have bootstrapped everything so far.

Excellent Event! Thank You, I meet several new people who need help to add social networking tools to their web page, start a blog or keep current on their FB site. I can do this with assisting business owners keep their company information current or start from the ground up.

Thanks for the mail. I am staying at 2350 Fruitdale Avenue and was wondering if you could give a ride. But since you are based at a place which appears to be close to the event venue I don't think that would be a great idea. I shall manage
