Hi Dolf, Thank you for joining Circle of Friends! I noticed you belong to Yalla--I organized a Yalla student presentation at Dominican U. last spring.

I started Circle because I am a lover of poetry, and in particular, I am enchanted by the works of Rumi, Mary Oliver, Kabir, Hafez and others. Poetry has a way of penetrating the heart. It allows us to deepen our comprehension about what it means to be truly human.

Ahlan ya Dolf, it was so nice to meet you and I hope we can get together sometime to practice Arabic since I am such a beginner! I am quite busy with school, I am getting a master's at SF State in TESOL, but would like to try to make some time to learn some Arabic.
