Join us for an informal discussion session with 20 members of Ruby Business Commons, one of the largest Ruby SIGs in Japan.
The group will be visiting Silicon Valley from Fukuoka, Japan in mid-September. This is a great chance to learn about:
- the latest Japanese trends in Ruby and Ruby on Rails
- innovative products/business models created with Ruby and JRuby
There will be a presentation by Ms. Chisako Katayama, EC One Inc. Chisako has many years of experience programming in Java. Now she maneges Ruby on Rails PJ and take charge of marketing also
one of RBC-member since establishment time. She is a coauther of "JRuby", which is a Japanese book but the only one book for giving an explanation for the JRuby to beginners.

Ruby Business Commons (RBC) is one of the largest Ruby communities in Japan for engineers, businesspeople, and end users who are interested in the Ruby language and who want to share their knowledge and experience with like-minded people.
