I have a table of data that I'd like to sort by column and filter by value. I've seen some examples on the web, but the most interesting ones are several years old. What have you done in this situation? I like the functionality found in?http://dev.nozav.org/rails_ajax_table.html

- Last Name?

I'd like to sort the table, ascending/descending by first name, or just show me the users in the USA who have logged in recently.
Rails Cookbook and Advanced Rails Recipes books and Ryan's railscasts are silent on this topic.
