Hi all,

I need some help finding a senior RoR engineer to help us with some
e-commerce integration and loads of other features.

We are an early stage startup with funding, looking for an experienced
Web developer with Ruby on Rails experience to work in our Campbell
office. Previous experience deploying large web applications and mysql
experience are a must. Experience with Ruby on Rails is highly
desirable, as is experience with the Facebook platform. If you would

Key responsibilities:
Design and develop new features using Ruby on Rails
Create high quality code and follow industry standard software
development practices and processes
Create test plans and implement test cases
Peer review of design and code
Fix bugs reported by users in a proactive and timely manner
Technical documentation on design, code, logic and interfaces
Analyze and triage user comments and feedback
Participate in status meetings and collaborate effectively with team
Provide schedule estimates and maintain credibility by meeting commitments

Required skills:
At least 5-7 years of professional software development experience
2-3 years of RoR experience building websites that have actually been
released for public consumption
Experience with ECommerce development
Knowledge of Linux, Apache, webservices
Good understanding of object oriented programming and relational databases
Solid analytical and design skills to build scalable, efficient and
reliable software
Familiarity with bug tracking tools, CM tools, GIT (Github.com), Capistrano
Be able to handle pressure and be flexible to adapt in a dynamic environment
Maintain a positive and can-do attitude
Be able to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent verbal and written communication

Bonus if you know xml, xsl, docbook
