Flogiston does sound pretty cool. I can't tell if the developers are
joking or not when they say upgrades will be difficult.

The approach that the devs take to allow the CMS features to be built-
in to your own app is what I like about Radiant, in addition to its
other very good but succinct feature list, and its also what I like in
Flogiston.

I've been pondering this question -- Rails CMS's, which are good and
how to exploit them -- for a while now. Maybe its a good topic for a
presentation... A presentation that presents a tour of 1 or 2 or 3
Rails-based CMS's, gives a comparison of them complete, and offers
working demos and code samples..... Would anyone be interested in
joining forces to produce something like this? Or has this been
done.....?
