Headhunters aren't allowed to post job openings, but companies are? Where is the fairness in that? Sounds like somebody running this group had a bad experience with a recruiter. Understandable, but that other guy wasn't me. It seems almost unconstitutional to deprive recruiters of the right to post job openings when companies with millions of dollars in funding are allowed (so that they can scalp the recruiter's fee)... It's OK for recruiters to post jobs on most Ruby meetup boards, but not on Silicon Valley Ruby?? Honestly, that comes off as a bit hick. Anyhow, this isn't an ad.
