Make Your Own Plant Based Yogurt

Yogurt is great stuff: it tastes good; it’s all sorts of healthy; and it goes with so many other yummy eats.

Sad thing is that modern yogurt and anything made from cows’ milk via modern factory farming is all sorts of sad for cows: they are separated from their darling calves; their lifespans are greatly shortened; and as soon as cows’ milk production falls, off they go to the slaughterhouse.

No worries, our fave food guru, Yeow, has a quick, easy way to make soy and nut yogurts: good for us, and good for our friends the cows and calves.

Amaze your family and friends with your culinary magic! Learn to make soy and nut yogurts that taste as great as the factory farmed dairy version without all the bad fat and cholesterol of dairy.

Sorry, George and Yeow - I am now needed to deliver housecall reiki tomorrow for a dear one. My guest, Denise Lim, might still go - checking with her now. Am disappointed but priority prevails. See you soon at the next session. Thanks much.

Hi mr yeow , is it possible to pay on the spot at the event tomorrow ?

    October 19, 2013

  • Mary

    Mr Yeow,
Can we sample some yogurt which you have made earlier?

    October 19, 2013

    hi George
i did think of making the session a little hands-on, but it's not practical largely bec the yogurt takes many hours to curd. so, i'll be showing u how it is done n the equipment u need... n u can get your own : )

    hi Mary
the session starts at 3, ends at 5pm. salad buffet dinner starts at 5pm or earlier... it's quite flexible actually..

    hi Harni
so far, we hvn't scheduled other dates for this session.
any chance u can find a replacement for your afternoon slot at office?
    : )

    hi Mary
the almond versions are quite different from the soy...
the timing-temperature involved to make, the texture and flavour are different.
some people wld like to avoid taking too much soy,
so i'm sharing the almond versions as solutions.
the soy version is similar to the one featured before.

good if i can know the number of people coming by fri
bec i need to prepare the right amount of samples
and starter cultures [soy-based] for u to bring home.

    thanksss : )

Thanks, Yeow. I'm excited to make soy yogurt again and to learn almond, as i hear almond has so many great qualitities. To make yogurt at home, will we need to buy any equipment? If so, will that equipment be for sale at the event, or will you tell us where to buy? If we buy ahead of time, can we bring and use at your workshop?
